"There Is No Shame In Bankruptcy"
Life After Bankruptcy Stories
I
had lost my job for a year. I tried to get another one but I had no
luck and the bills kept piling up. I had to keep charging
things like groceries and other needs and the bills stacked up to
thousands of dollars. I was on my way to being sued and I didn't know
what else to do so I talked with friends and relatives.
They suggested bankruptcy. I researched it and with support of my
friends and family I made the choice to file.
It was a relatively easy
process. I didn't lose anything and it was such a relief once it was
over. There is no shame in bankruptcy.
What you need to do when filing bankruptcy is get all the help you can.
Keep track of all of your documents. Make sure everything is sent in on
time.
Don't be nervous. It's
not as scary as you think. After my bankruptcy I felt so free and
relieved, it was good to know I was out from under my sea of debt.
As long as you get help from a professional everything will go well.
Don't try to do everything on your own. As long as you have a good
support system you will come out happier with less burdens and a
lighter feeling.
It may be difficult to get back where you were credit wise. It
may take a few years to get a good credit score again but as long as
you spend wisely and don't put too much on credit it will all work out.
If you know anyone who has gone through the processes before talk with
them ask questions and take the advice that they give you. <span
