These are hard times for everyone, both mentally and economically, and I realize that, but I never expected to lose my job.
Before
I went into bankruptcy I had just purchased a new home and a new car,
and then, BOOM! - out of nowhere I get laid off.
I have since had to file for bankruptcy, which has really put me at a
financial loss. My fiancee has left me, I lost my house as well as my
new car, and I'm living alone in a one-bedroom apartment while in
desperate search of a new job.
Being laid off has made my life very difficult, and I am still
trying to get back on my feet. I have barely enough money to
live,
and before this
recession hit I was pretty well off.
But believe me, filing
bankruptcy is quite
beneficial when you are in a situation like mine. Sometimes it is the
only way to get back on your feet. Without going into bankruptcy times
would have been even harder for me and I wouldn't know what to
do
with myself.
Bankruptcy saved my life. Don't be ashamed to do what is
best for yourself.
