The Alaska bankruptcy court system consists of one district, which is further divided into five divisions. Pursuant to Alaska's local bankruptcy rules, the initial petition may be filed at any one of the five divisions. Subsequent bankruptcy documents must be filed at the Anchorage or Fairbanks Division.
